Astrophotography
Beaver Island is a designated Dark Sky Sanctuary, allowing us the darkest skies east of the Mississippi River. Our place is right in the middle and the lights are out!

Oh what a night! The stars were bright and the Aurora was intensely active. This well-loved, Whiskey Point Lighthouse stood bathed in auroral shades of green and purple for all to see.
